Alice Tzeng cried over bleeding foot, thanks Jay Chou for supporting and making her popular

Although “J Girl” Alice Tzeng previously insisted that she did not know rumored boyfriend Jay Chou very well, the one she thanks most since she entered the entertainment industry, is still him. Yesterday she accepted an interview by Liberty Times and revealed that before [Secret] the film Jay Chou had selected her for, in fact she had previously acted in a PTS Life Story. However, halfway through filming she was severely injured in an accident and unfortunately, she had to be replaced. Furthermore, all the parts she had filmed were all deleted, causing her to break down in tears in the hospital emergency room and she was at her lowest point for two years!

Carried on filming despite leg injury, ended up operating and staying in hospital

Thinking about this past that no-one knew about, Alice said that she had to ride a motorbike for scenes in PTS’s [The Soul Of Bread] 愛的麵包魂 and since she didn’t know how to ride one, she had to specially practice for these scenes. Unexpectedly, she had a serious crash and her right ankle got caught in the wheel and even burnt by the exhaust pipe. However, she was afraid that it would affect the filming so she fixed up the wound a bit and kept going. She didn’t think that the wound would then become infected with severe inflammation (Cellulitis) and even spread to her calf. It got to the point that she couldn’t even walk and in the end, she had to seek medical help and have an operation.

Couldn’t walk for three months, cruelly replaced, cried in pain

At the time, only 20% of the drama had been filmed and female lead Alice Tseng had been forced to stay in hospital, for three months she wasn’t supposed to walk. Therefore, her role was given to Wang XiangHan (王湘涵) and the whole show was filmed again from the start. She said, “At the time, I couldn’t stand up and cried a lot in the emergency room because I was so sad!” From then on, she only filmed few CFs; it wasn’t until [Secret] did she become popular. Between her injury and [Secret], she felt very down for two years.

In regards to rumored boyfriend Jay Chou selecting her for the role, Alice Tseng said very emotionally, “I’m very thankful that he gave me the opportunity and looked after me.” However, she denies the relationship rumors and only mentioned that they previously seen each other at the premiere of the film [L.O.V.E] (愛到底) and Jay Chou had complimented that her acting wasn’t bad. Other than that, they didn’t chat much and she also admitted that they don’t contact each other. She only congratulated him via SMS when he released his album and bought a few copies to show her support for him.
